South Wales Animal Rescue

All of our animals were once beloved pets and for one reason or another they have ended up in our care. We are funded entirely from donations from volunteers and supporters and desperately need your help. Please click the links below if you would like to be a part. No donation is too large or too small so get clicking!

Adoption Scheme

While we aim to rehome as many animals as possible, some are just unrehomable, either because they are too old, have behavioural issues or need ongoing medical care.  To help cover costs to keep them we are running an adoption scheme where supporters can 'adopt' an animal for a year, for £20 a year the adopter will get the following.

 The adoption includes:

  • Birthday and Christmas cards from the adopted animal
  • Letters and pictures twice a year with an update on the animal
  • Adoption certificate
  • Keyring with the animals picture on

You can adopt an animal as an individual or as a group, ie schools, workplaces etc, they make a great gift for friends and family.

Attitude - So named because of his temper, he was hand-reared by staff at the rescue but he became far too grumpy to rehome. He was neutered but that didn't help.  Attitude is now seven and has calmed down a little but will spend the rest of his days at the rescue.

George cannot be rehomed due to his temperament.  He is fine with most
people but if he doesn't like you then he lets you know.  If he likes
you then he is a big softy, if he doesn't - watch out!
