All of our animals were once beloved pets and for one reason or another they have ended up in need of our help. We are funded entirely from donations from volunteers and supporters and desperately need your help. Please click the links below if you would like to be a part. No donation is too large or too small so get clicking!

APril 2013
We re still helping unwanted and abandoned animals, at present we desperately need a mobile open to orange as the one we are using will not keep a charge so volunteers are using their own numbers which is not ideal. We cannot take in at present but do find fosters, placements and sometimes have new homes waiting on animals.
March 2011
Message from Caz: We could really do with a person to sort fund raising for us, after a good response to feed and money donations needed they have all but dried up again.
The rescue needs around £500 per week to keep all the animals in feed, accomodation and vet fees at the moment we're getting around £150 plus some feed donations. This m...eans the animals can't get anything but the basics at the moment.
They have all just been frontlined again thanks to our wonderful vet, but wormers are due this week and that bill is over £150 on it's own.
We have a colt who needs to be Gelded and as our vet doesn't have the equipment and it would cost her £650 plus vat to get the equipment, we need to find £180 up front to pay a vet we don't have an account with.
If anyone would like to help from a pound to a million then every penny is gratfully received and spent directly to benefit the animals.
Anyone interested in fund raising for us please contact me.
URGENT APPEAL- April 2011
We urgently needs some grazing to rent in the local area, we have just lost some of the fields we rent and need to move the rescue horses. Alternatively, we need to find loan homes for some of our rescued ponies, please take a look at our adoption page for details and if you can help in any way please contact us. Thanks.
November 2010 - Donation of rubber matting
In November we were very kindly offered enough rubber matting to cover most of our stables, this amazing offer was from Equifloor. The mats duly arrived and were put down and as you will see from the pics below the horses loved them. This has saved us having to use so much bedding over the winter and made the mucking out much quicker, thank you so much to Equifloor from all of us at South Wales Animal Rescue, both two and four legged.
