All of our animals were once beloved pets and for one reason or another they have ended up in need of our help. Why are we needed?

Jan 2009 two mares were dumped on a golf course in Cardiff, there was nowhere for them to go, all the rescues were full up and they needed to be moved, we took them in.  They wouldn't let us near them for weeks.  In May one of the mares had a foal, and it was a waiting game to see if the other one was pregnant, luckily she wasn't, but now we have an extra mouth to feed, he needed to be microchipped and registered, he will need to be gelded in the next few months, and broken in when he is four when we may be able to loan him out.  Until then we will need to feed him, get his hooves trimmed and spend lots of time bringing him up. (He is gorgeous though!)  If we weren't here where would these ponies have ended up?

These Three are now with  loving carers who cover most of their costs
